| | I have purchased about a half dozen different cases and this one gives enough protection without encasing the touch rendering it useless. You have access to everything you need and the flip case makes a great handle to keep me from dropping my toy while using it. The protection extends to drop protection as it has a sturdy lip around the touch that absorbs the shock. The case is so good that I have recomended it to friends and I am looking to get another one. Some might consider the fact that I am buying another one after a year to be a con, but I have my touch with me all day, everyday. | | |

| This case let me down.
With the number of cases on the market it is really hard to find the one that has everything you want. I thought I had found it when I got this case. It had the belt clip, (a must for me) but unlike many other cases with clips it had a cover to protect the screen. My biggest concern is a clip case that leaves the screen exposed. The design of the case is great, unfortunately the craftsmanship is crap. First of all, it is not genuine leather, it is imitation leather (feels really nice) but after 3 days the belt clip had started wearing out. The grommet that held it in place ripped out of the backing leaving the clip dangling loosely. And the slit where the clip enters the back of the case stretched and tore open.
To sum up, it’s a great design, but if you plan on using it for more than a week you will be disappointed.
