Magnets in this case may cause your iPod to freeze!
User: Andrew Huggett, Apr 24, 2008
I bought this case & straight away my ipod touch started freezing in standby mode. I was seriously annoyed & thought it was a fault with my ipod until I came across this forum post http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=431531
As soon as I took it out of the case it worked fine. Its highly likely that the magnets that hold the lid of the case closed are messing up my ipod! Hard to believe but true.
DONT BUY!!!!!
User: Joel Martin, May 22, 2008
Pros:
looks cool
Cons:
Will break your iPod
I bought this at Futureshop with my new iPod, it dies 4 days later...
I exchange it. The next one dies. I guess the magnets damage the iPod... I know its flash memory and an LCD but something about this case breaks the iPod. The Clerk at Futureshop said he has had similar complaints.
Drains battery
User: Joseph Varlet, Jun 13, 2008
It took me exchanging two ipods to learn that the magnets in this case drain the battery in the ipod touch. Leaving the ipod in the case results in the battery depleting when not in use.
